Issue with dialog options

I am having an issue with dialogue options in the current version of House Party, for instance, whatever option I choose with Frank, the response I get is "You're dead asshole" and he then proceeds to knock me out.

There are also bugs in conversations with Patrick and Rachel.

I would appreciate any advice.

Hi, what version, specifically, are you running? Try exiting the game, deleting this folder, then restarting the game and hitting Start New Game with the Original Story selected:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\Eek\House Party\Mods\Stories

Also ensure that you've got exceptions/exclusions set up in your anti-virus/anti-ransomware/security software for all files and folders in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\House Party (also add HouseParty.exe specifically so the process can operate without being obstructed)
