I ended up drinking the coffee... what should I do?

I drank the coffee meant for Patrick to sober him up for stamina. How do I now get his phone? Is this mission critical? If it is, is there a cheat or workaround? Thanks!

Oh I drank that coffee too. It seems the quest can still be continued, you just need to find another way to get the phone from Patrick (look in the bag or pickpocket). Otherwise you will have to reload the old save.

Give him the coffee and wait until he falls asleep before taking the phone. That's what I did.

The alternative way of getting coffee is getting onto his side in Rachael/Patrick spat. That will make him automatically get sober.
You do need to get the Thermos for Rachael, and get to the point you find a magazine with some information (won't spoil how you get there).
