U4GM How to Build Zhuang Fangyi for Top DPS

Zhuang Fangyi didn't take long to stand out in Endfield 1.2. A lot of players jumped on her because she looks flashy, but she's actually worth the hype once you learn how her loop works. If you've been checking out Arknights endfield accounts or browsing team setups, you've probably noticed she keeps showing up in Electric squads for a reason. Her gameplay is built around rhythm. First, you stack Electric Infliction. Then you turn it into Electrification with her Combo Skill. After that, you cash everything in with her Battle Skill for a heavy burst and a stream of Sunderblades that keep pressure on the target. It sounds technical on paper. In practice, it starts to click after a few runs, and once it does, she feels fast, sharp, and honestly pretty addictive to play.

How her damage really works
The biggest mistake people make is treating her like a basic spam DPS. She's not. Her damage comes from timing and conversion, not from mindless button presses. You want enemies carrying enough Infliction before you trigger the next step, otherwise the whole cycle feels weak. Her ultimate is where things really open up. The rotation gets quicker, the downtime shrinks, and those windows where she can pile on damage become much easier to maintain. You'll notice it straight away in boss fights. She doesn't just hit hard once. She keeps feeding her own momentum, which is why experienced players rate her so highly in longer encounters.

What to level and what to build
If resources are tight, keep it simple. Level her Battle Skill first. That's the core of her burst and the source of those Sunderblades, so it gives the biggest return. Next comes the Combo Skill, since smoother Infliction conversion means a cleaner rotation and fewer awkward gaps. Her Basic Attack can wait. It's there, sure, but it's not what makes her dangerous. Stat-wise, she scales best when you stack offensive value through Will and Intellect. That part matters more than some players expect. A sloppy build can make her feel underwhelming, while a tuned one suddenly makes every cycle hit the way it should.

Weapons, gear, and team support
Lone Barge is the obvious top pick because it fits her sustained Electric playstyle almost perfectly. If you don't have it, Flickers in the Mist is still usable and won't ruin the build. For gear, Xiranflow makes the most sense. It supports her damage pattern and gives a little extra steadiness when fights drag on. Team-wise, though, she's not the kind of carry you just throw anywhere. She wants help. Perlica and Arclight are strong partners because they keep Electric application rolling and help with SP flow. That support matters. Without it, her rotation can feel a bit clunky. With it, she starts looking like one of the cleanest hyper-carries in the current patch.

Why players keep investing in her
What makes Zhuang Fangyi so appealing isn't just the damage number at the end of a fight. It's the feel of getting the cycle right. You build stacks, cash them out, and watch the whole engine keep moving. That's satisfying in a way a lot of simpler characters aren't. She does ask for setup, practice, and a team that actually works with her, so she's not the easiest unit to fake your way through with. Still, if you're planning your roster carefully and even looking at player resources or services from U4gm to save time on progression, she's one of the smartest Electric investments you can make right now.
